Advantages of Veka PVC windows
Veka windows belong to the highest class A (according to EN 12608). What does it mean? The external walls of A-class profiles are 3 mm thick and this is a key parameter for optimum protection of the occupants against cold and noise. At the same time, it also ensures the windows' stability and durability.
Thinner-walled profiles, which fall into the lower B and C classes, no longer have such a high resistance to damage and are around 10 to 20 per cent more prone to corner cracking. Other advantages of Veka windows are that they have a low susceptibility to damage, provide stability of frames and sashes in finished windows, have a high resistance to temperature changes, as well as excellent sound insulation.
Veka PVC windows vs aluminium windows
Veka windows, as we mentioned earlier, are created from plastic, i.e. PVC. However, if you want to opt for aluminium windows then it is worth betting on Aliplast windows.
It is clear that PVC and aluminium are completely two different materials. Each has its own advantages, disadvantages and different properties.
