At-window-head mounted roller shutters are an aesthetically pleasing and modern solution for new builds. They have an aesthetically pleasing appearance, provide very good thermal and acoustic insulation and are functional.
At-window-head mounted roller shutters can be used during construction, when modernising a building (before insulation) or when replacing windows. However, they require a recess in the lintel for the roller shutter cassette. This system ensures the highest level of aesthetics, as the roller shutter cassette becomes invisible from the outside and is integrated into the building façade. The lower cassette wall is visible from the outside, allowing easy access for maintenance of the roller shutter. Thanks to the cassette and guides, the system provides a higher level of security and its unquestionable aesthetic qualities make it one of the more frequently selected roller shutter systems.
In the case of At-window-head mounted roller shutters, two types of slats can be used - aluminium or PVC.
Aluminium roller shutter slats are among the ecologically clean products. The foam which fills them is free of CFC compounds and the paints used in their production do not contain cadmium. They are characterised by very good colour fastness and high abrasion resistance. They are also resistant to weathering.
A characteristic feature of slats made of plastic is their slim shape, low height and low weight. The materials used ensure high resistance to abrasion.
A wide range of colours and veneers in various finish structures, as well as the possibility of RAL powder coating, allow you to match the colour of your concealed roller shutter to your individual requirements and perfectly blend in with any façade. Choose the design that suits you and your home.
At-window-head mounted roller shutters can be controlled manually, using a remote control, a wall-mounted controller or an app on a smartphone. In the basic option, the roller shutter is managed manually using a tape or cord, a cord, a spring mechanism or a crank. Much more convenient and practical (especially if we have a large number of roller shutters installed) is the automatic control. The great advantage of electric control is the possibility to connect weather sensors, e.g. wind or sunshine, which will automatically raise or close the roller shutter when a preset value is detected. In addition, roller shutters connected to a smart home system can open or close at a specific time. All according to set usage scenarios.
